Who Are We?

TLC has spent over a decade finding the highest quality Chiropractors, Chiropractic assistants and other allied health professionals who love the communities they live in and have a passion for helping people achieve their ultimate health goals. We believe every person should have access to natural health care options which is why we operate in 10 different locations throughout Eastern Australia, mostly in regional areas. We aim to recruit the best, and then we ensure they stay the best through ongoing coaching, mentoring and training designed to ensure they have the most up to date information and research surrounding Chiropractic care.

History

TLC was birthed in Queensland, Australia by Dr Craig Gilberd (Chiropractor) in 2002. Dr Craig chose Chiropractic as a career at the age of 15, after having a life changing encounter with Chiropractic in his hometown of Auckland, NZ. His recovery from this severe case of mono-nucleosis within 24 hours, set Craig on an unwavering commitment to Chiropractic. Craig began his career at Palmer College of Chiropractic (USA) in 1973 at the tender age of 19. He went on to established Lifestyle Chiropractic Australia with a practice in Mackay in 2002. In 2009 the group’s name evolved to Total Lifestyle Chiropractic (TLC), the premise being “EveryBODY needs TLC!”. Today, TLC operates at 9 locations from Townsville in far north Queensland to Nelson Bay, NSW. Over the years, TLC has been involved in the professional development of many exceptional Chiropractors and Chiropractic Assistants and we take pride in the ongoing professional development we offer all those who work with us.
